KATU News 7/15/2025 #Portland #cerveza #Oregon

The Fuji to Hood festival brings together brewers from Oregon and Japan to collaborate on original recipes. The festival alternates each year between Portland and Tokyo. Now, the people behind the festival are exploring a different culture. MXPDX is a collaboration festival between Mexico and Oregon. It's on Saturday, July 19th, 2025 at The Redd on SE Salmon. General Admission from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. includes a branded collectible cerveza glass and 10 drink tickets for $35. The special Cantina Celebation is Friday evening from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. featuring beer, food and live music. Those tickets cost $50. In April 2026, MXPDX will be held in Mexico City. Organizer Ezra Johnson-Greenough and Chef/Co-Owner of Xicha Brewing Ricardo Antunez visited ARC PDX to tell us all about it.
